Mai is a former athlete who knows what physical challenges are. As a matter of fact, Mai started practicing yoga after finishing her career in professional sport. She says, “After completing my career in rhythmic gymnastics, I had two options, which were becoming a gymnastics coach and working on myself. I had a lot of injuries and was tired of the harsh sports world, so I decided to choose the second option and that’s how I started doing yoga.” Mai is one of those coaches who know from personal experience that pushing oneself to the limit to achieve certain results is not always a good idea.
